Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju has been involved in a road accident at Magina, along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway.
According to reports that the Jubilee SG was on his way to the late President Daniel Moi’s Kabarak home when the incident took place.
The reports further indicate that he had been airlifted to Kijabe hospital.
Tuju is reported to have sustained minor injuries in the accident but is in a stable condition.
Jubilee Director of Communication Albert Mwemusi said the doctors were taking care of CS Tuju but that there was scanty information on his state at the moment.
“The doctors at the hospital are taking care of him and we expect him to be airlifted to Nairobi. However, this is information still developing,” he stated.
Tuju was amongst the dignitaries who were on their way to Mzee Moi’s Kabarak home for his final send-off.
