Raila: Ruto Should Stop Lamenting

Published:

The Azimio One Kenya Coalition Leader Raila Odinga has told Ruto and his allies to stop lamenting the issues they promised to work on.

In his tweet, Odinga said he was traveling out of the country to India and that he shall be visiting several nations.

“Baba has left the country for a week’s visit to several nations starting with India; see you all when I’m back. Meanwhile, can William Ruto & Kenya Kwanza stop it with the lamentations?” read the tweet.

Raila is expected to visit Hyderabad and Trivandrumis cities for business and infrastructural development meetings.

Odinga’s communication director Dennis Onyango said that Raila would be out of the country for ten days.

“Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga has left the country for India to attend to personal matters and have official engagements with various players in his capacity as AU Infrastructure High Representative for Africa.” said Raila’s Communications director.

The government has been complaining about the oversight role that Odinga, with his Azimio Allies, has been playing to keep the government in check. The Azimio government has been against the legalization of GMOs in the country, as had been said by the government.

The president and his deputy have been blaming Raila Odinga for not doing his oversight role as required of him in Kenyatta’s government. As said by Gachagua during the commissioning of the Thiba dam in Kirinyaga, Raila is to blame for the nation’s state.

“Wewe mzee wa kuzimia, unaongea mzuri sana na hiyo ndiyo kazi yako ya kukosoa sisi. Kama ulifanya hiyo kazi ya kukosoa serikali ya Uhuru Kenyatta, hatungefika hapa tuko. You abandoned your duty to oversight the government, serikali ikaporwa na wewe na watu yako mkaingia kwa uporaji.” said the DP while in Kirinyaga.

Ruto also told Odinga and his team to join hands in the tree planting instead of complaining all the time.

“I am asking every Kenyan, wherever they are, hata wale ndugu zetu wa upinzani, ni vizuri wakati wanatukosoa pia wapande miti.” said Ruto.
