Police officers have arrested 30 teenagers aged between 12 and 22 years who were found partying in Muhoroni, Bondeni estate.
According to Muhoroni Deputy Commissioner Erick Wanyonyi, the teens were in a house party in contrary to COVID-19 guidelines.
According to Citizen TV, Wanyonyi warned he would arrest parents of minors found in the wrong side of the law accusing them of negligence.
“If you cannot take care of your children, and they are arrested in parties during this time, you will also face the law,” he said.
This came a day after the Ministry of Health cautioned youths against reckless behaviour.
