Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi now claims that he was not born in Western Kenya as many people have believed before.
According to his online profile, Mudavadi is said to have been born in Sabatia Constituency, a thing he now refutes.
Speaking in Eldama Ravine, Mudavadi claimed that he was not born in Western but in Rift Valley where he draws his roots.
“I was born here in Baringo while my mother Rosebella Jerono was born here in Ravine. And the likes of Douglas Chebitei and Albert Chebitei are my uncles and I know they are amongst the people who have gathered here,” Mudavadi said.
It is not immediately clear whether Mudavadi, a native of Mululu in Vihiga County, might have made the claims because his late stepmother Rosebella Jerono came from Baringo County or because his late father Moses Mudavadi worked in the region as a district education officer before he joined politics.
