Kalonzo Insists OKA Cannot Break Up Ahead Of 2022 Polls

Published:

One Kenya Alliance (OKA) co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has lashed out at critics who have been insinuating that the alliance’s breakup is imminent.

In an interview with a local television Kalonzo dismissed the wishful thinking by their critics, saying the alliance is unbreakable with the 2022 polls fast approaching.

Kalonzo also said his bond with fellow co-principals Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and Gideon Moi goes way past politics, saying that breaking them is just a fantasy.

“This is a group that knows each other, from Gideon Moi to Wetangula, Mudavadi, to myself. First, we had to bond, we are brothers, and we are actually our brother’s keeper,” stated Kalonzo.

Kalonzo further claimed the alliance has been growing despite speculation that its leaders might break away into Deputy President William Ruto’s UDA and ODM leader Raila Odinga’s camp.

“OKA is growing in leaps and bounds, and that is why other like-minded people are also joining; my learned sister Martha Karua, Governor Kabogo, Speaker Muturi and others who are joining us,” the Wiper Party leader asserted.

Speculations that Mudavadi is warming up to DP Ruto, while Musyoka and Moi towards Odinga have escalated in recent days.

The party is set to declare its presidential flag bearer this January.
