Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed on Saturday evening claimed that nominated senator Isaac Mwaura uses conmanship to get nomination slots in parliament by bleaching himself so that he represents the people with disability.
Junet Mohamed made those sentiments during the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) popularization campaign in the county of Turkana.
“I have seen someone who is walking around and has been presenting himself as person with disability… this man Isaac Mwaura, I thought he had a disability and should be helped but I have noticed he is a white man.” He said
“It seems he bleached himself so he could secure himself nomination to the National Assembly first through the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), then Jubilee and now he has decamped to the Wheelbarrow movement…we want the Constitution amended so that all white men can be compared to people with disability,” added Junet.
In the meantime, the nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura had lamented steps by the Jubilee party to discipline and expel him from the party, claiming that he had no faith in the Jubilee disciplinary committee.
“Jubilee party chair Nelson Dzuya and vice chair David Murathe publicly said that I will be expelled from the party to be an example to others. How can I have faith in this party committee?” Posed Mwaura.

Isaac Mwaura has been supporting the deputy president William Ruto, something which has not gone so well with the Jubilee party officials such as David Murathe.
The Orange party also accused Mwaura of organizing goons to heckle Raila Odinga when he visited Githurai in a bid to market the Building Bridges Initiative.
