Body of a Kenyan nurse who drowned in a Canadian pool arrives.

Hellen Wendy, a 24-year-old Kenyan nurse who drowned in a Canadian pool while broadcasting live on Facebook, had her body finally return to her family and friends at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Saturday (JKIA).

The deceased woman’s family revealed after her passing that they were having problems gathering the funds needed to transport her body back to Kenya.

Her clan launched a GoFundMe campaign to aid in the collection of such monies, and they were ultimately able to pay for it due to well-wishers.

“It took us a long time and a lot of effort, but by God’s mercy we were finally able to retrieve our daughter’s body. We waited so long for her body that we even made the decision to travel to Canada, but the procedures there were quite difficult, but everything is over now “explained he.

The corpse of the deceased was brought to Lee Funeral Home, where was kept until Sunday, there after returned to her family’s house, according to the deceased’s father.
