The Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, has congratulated the young people for being very creative. This was during the Kenya National Music Festival’s closure in Kisumu.
“Even I’m amazed that our creative young people have given me a nickname…They have looked at my name Rigathi Gachagua, looked for something more easy, more melodious and called me Riggy G.” Said Gachagua.
The DP embraces his new name, saying it is not bad. He has added that our people should be allowed to grow and develop their talents.
The name Riggy G was all over the internet during The Deputy President’s first speech to Kenyans. Netizens used the name all over to refer to Rigathi Gachagua.
On the same note, Gachagua promised Kisumu people that they would work for every Kenyan whether they voted for them or not. He also added that he has keenly looked at the performances and wants two or three teams to come and perform for Kenyans on Mashujaa day.
“…so that we allow our people to grow and give them an opportunity tooo excel.” He added.
