Diamond Platnumz has added a new twist into his wedding which has been shrouded in secret by suggesting Zuchu is not the one.
The Bongo singer was said to be dating Zuchu since December 2021, and in early February 2022 the two were reported to have gotten married in utmost secrecy.
Diamond and Zuchu started showing public display of affection (PDA) on Valentine’s Day. Afterwards they started turning up at events together and Zuchu has also been seen at the singer’s home in Madale, Dar es Salaam.
On Monday April 4th, Diamond’s mother Sanura Sandra Kassim alias Mama Dangote sparked excitement when she took to Instagram to express her approval of Diamond’s sweetheart urging him to marry her.
“Nashindwa kuelezea furaha yangu mwanangu, Naseeb @diamondplatnumz ?hapa sasa umepata mwenza, utulie Baba angu Uoe..(I can’t explain my joy my son, aseeb @diamondplatnumz. You have found your soulmate now settle and marry),” Diamond’s mother wrote.

In another post on Wednesday April 6th, Diamond’s mother implored her son to marry during this period of Ramadhan.
Ramadhan, which begun on April 1st and ends on May 1st, is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community.

You have already found your better half marry her, by the end of Ramadan you should be settled in marriage),” Diamond’s mother wrote.

On Thursday April 7th, Mama Dangote once again took to social media but this time she indicated her son’s wedding was about to go down. She referred Diamond as ‘bridegroom to be’.
“BWANA HARUSI MTARAJIWA NASEEB KICHWA @diamondplatnumz ?” Mama Dangote wrote.

Many people quickly concluded Diamond is marrying Zuchu. However in a surprising twist, the Bongo singer came out to suggest his wife-to-be was not Zuchu.
“Nani aliwaambia ni Zuchu (who told you it is Zuchu)?” Diamond laughed off claims he is marrying Zuchu.
