Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga will officially receive defectors from Amani National Congress(ANC) in his Chungwa House office.
The politicians who will be officially joining the Orange party ahead of the August 8 general election are majorly from Kakamega county.
The move comes after ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi joined forces with Deputy President William Ruto a fortnight ago.
On Wednesday, the DP held a joint rally with his new allies, ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula in Nakuru.
Meanwhile, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka will be traversing Kitui County where he is expected to hold a major rally at the Kitui Stadium.
Kalonzo is expected to be in the company of businessman Jimi Wanjigi who is also eyeing the country’s top seat.
At the same time, DP Ruto will be campaigning for his Bottom-up approach economic model to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s backyard of Kiambu county.
During the visit, the second in command is expected to make at least eight stopovers to address residents of the county’s three constituencies, including Kabete, Limuru and Kikuyu.
