DP Ruto Responds To Raila’s Claims That He Will Jail Corrupt Leaders Once Elected President

Published:

Deputy President Willaim Ruto has responded to remarks made by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga that he will jail them should he become president come August this year.

While addressing residents in Thika yesterday, January 15, the former Prime Minister claimed that DP Ruto and his allies were thieves who could do nothing significant if they ascended to power.

Raila said that upon being elected, he will ensure Ruto and his men go to jail for allegedly stealing from the public during their ten-year stint in government.

“I will take them all to Kamiti. Kenyans are not fools,” Odinga added.

Speaking at his rally in Jacaranda Grounds in Nairobi on Sunday, DP Ruto responded to the former prime minister noting that he will not be shaken by Raila’s threats.
