Embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna has vowed to renounce his Kenyan citizenship if Raila Odinga becomes president.
The Canada-based lawyer further said he will sell all his property in Kenya should the ODM leader Raila Odinga win the highly anticipated 2022 presidential race.
“If Raila Odinga becomes president of Kenya, I’ll sell all my property there and renounce my citizenship,” Miguna Miguna said.
The former Raila Odinga’s chief strategists exuded confidence that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s handshake partner will never win the presidential race again.
He claimed that Raila won the 2007 and 2017 elections credibly adding that the fact that the former Prime Minister won twice but was denied to lead does not mean that he will win in the August elections.
“Yes, I believe that Raila Odinga won the 2007 and 2017 elections credibly. That is why I swore him in. However, the fact that he won an election in 2007 and 2017 does not mean he will or can win in 2022. He cannot win credibly,” Miguna Miguna said.
Miguna who fell out with the opposition chief after the mock swearing-in in January 2018, recently said Raila is unfit to be the next president of Kenya.
