Jubilee Party has redesigned its logo, dropping its association with United Republican Party (URP) which was allied to Deputy President William Ruto.
The new logo features a dove (in place of clasped hands) and is red and white with the motto “Tuko Pamoja” now changing to “Mbele Pamoja”.
The ruling party has since forwarded the new logo to Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) for trademarking.
The new colours by the President Uhuru Kenyatta led party are contrary to Jubilee usual colours which are red, yellow, black and white.
This might also mark as a red flag for DP Ruto’s allies with it being a clear indication, of the falling-out between President Uhuru and his deputy.
The purported changes come months after Jubilee Party revealed that they are planning a major rebrand to mark severance of ties with DP Ruto and his allies.
It is also reported Jubilee are working on forming a coalition with the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) ahead of the 2022 general elections.
The changes come months after Jubilee Party revealed that they are planning a major rebranding ahead of 2022.
Anyone who might wish to oppose the party’s new logo registration has until February 22, 2022, to present an objection to KIPI.
